when i turn the head lights on the marker lights go off...why? the parking lights work fine when turned on in the first position...could it be the switch? or a wiring issue..

It's a wiring issue. The factory wired them that way. It's working as designed.

try justIH dot org. Pretty good bunch of folks, IMO. I can't make meetings, usually no time to drive the 2.5 hours to get there on time, but they have a gathering every year in the summer, plus the christmas party this week, which I also can't make.
