View Full Version : 345 spark plug gap
The manual says to set the spark plug gap at .20 on 345 if I am reading it right....this doesn't sound quite right to me....any one set me straight?

Setting the gap at .20 is a little big.
Personally, I'd set the gap at .030 - .040
That's what I was thinking....wonder why the manual says that?

.20 or .020? Often .020 was used with Propane fuel. For some reason .032 rings in my head as the recomended plug gap with a stock ignition. Anywhere between .032 and .040 should be fine.
With .20 you better have some HD plug wires to handle that gap.:D
