I have a 68 1100C 2wd, with the 304 v8 in it. Shortly after I bought it, I started having problems with it running rough when I came to a stop, and hesitation on acceleration. I cleaned and rebuilt the carb, adjusted the gap on the points, changed the fuel filter and everything was fine for quite about 1000 miles. About a week ago I started having trouble again, it hesitates off the line, and then it bogs down if you push the throttle in too far. After a short trip the other day it was very difficult to start, and then at my next stop it refused to start. I thought maybe some fuel had percolated up and flooded it out, so I cranked for a while with no throttle, kept trying until I had to get a jump, and when that didn't help I just got a tow home. The battery's fully charged now, I've tried to start it once since I've gotten it home, with no luck. Also it could be my imagination but it seems to be turning over faster than usual when I turn the key. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
