What diesels have you installed in your Scout other than the Nissan????

There's a few people with the GM 6.2 liter and some with a 4BT or 6BT cummins. Powerstrokes are too much of a headache to deal with. Personally, I have no idea what a Yanmar diesel is... :/

yanmars and perkins are for sailboat and generators. (I live in annapolis)

Yanmar & Perkins are used for many things other than blow boats & gensets...

sure they are used for many things but that dosent make it right....

True... plenty of diesels were put into marine applications. But, you'll still have to modify those to make them work properyly in an SUV like the Scouts. Not that it can't be done if someone were determined enough and had the know-how and resources to do it, but for most people it's just too much of a pain in the a$$ to do.
