GD 214 in KB3

MY son and I are working on a GD 214 Flat head. What is the corect firing order? It fires twice back fires up the carberator, Im stumped

I thought the firing order was on the valve cover on the old GD engines, but maybe it was a sticker.

Try www.oldihc.org and see what you can find.

I sure hope that's all it is. Those are really cool engines.

fireing order on most 6 cyls it will definitely be close to this as 1and6 5 and 2 3and6 are companion cysl they are 1/2 turn off from eachother on distributer easy way to remember is too young too young just right i was told this by a guy that i used to work with and it has beed stuck in my head since:)
