I have a 1980 345 4BBL that has sat for a while and has really old baked on oil on the exhaust pipe. Can I clean with something or just replace a section rather than the entire pipe? I have tried searching for an exhaust system and haven't found anything. Thanks for the help.

Use brake cleaner or the engine degreaser that you spray on cold and rinse off with water. Get most of it off, the rest will burn off.
The 345 on a scout uses the same exhaust manifolds for all V8s that are found in scouts. They are common. The pipe is standard. Any muffler shop can replace it. It's not a pre-fit thing. There are techniques for routing the pipe that give better performance and easier service (changing oil in t-case, transmission, etc.) but the techniques are generic. The stock single exhaust is somewhat tuned for length at the Y joint for scavenging effect, but there are other ways to do it, and ways to split the exhaust for better performancee.
