Yes there is such a swap, I should just say SEARCH...yet I'm in a damn good mood today.
The Weber 2 bbl carb conversion is the most popular that I've seen so far.

I spoke with John at Jam engineering when I did my conversion and he was helpful as well as taking care of my questions when I was installing it.
The total cost for my conversion came out too $368.80 and that was for the carb, linkage, adapter plate, air filter and all the assorted hardware for the install.
I received the kit on a thursday morning, didn't get around to bolting it on until about 1pm. Had the carb bolted on and partially tuned by about 3 that afternoon, had to quit since I had to go to work that night.
Took about another 2 hours the next day to get the sucker tuned and get everything working and opening the right way and redo the timing some.
Since the conversion, I've watched my mileage go up, and my power has gone up exponentially. The 4 speed tranny was turned into a 2 speed, I now only use 2nd for starting out then jump to 4th.
